Tỷ lệ nữ giới giảm mạnh từ các ngành Xã hội nhân văn đến Kỹ thuật.
Tỷ lệ người có ngôn ngữ mẹ đẻ không phải tiếng Anh và người sinh ra ở nước ngoài thấp trong các ngành Nhân văn và Giáo dục, nhưng lại cao trong các ngành Công nghệ thông tin và Vật lý.

Thân bài:

The table presents data on six university departments in terms of , the percentage of students whose first language is not English, and the percentage born outside Australia.

Overall, the proportion of female students decreases significantly from Humanities to Engineering. Departments such as Humanities and Education of and , whereas Information Technology and Physics have the highest proportions in both categories.

In terms of , female students were the majority in Humanities (72%) and Education (68%). Science and Physics had , with 52% and 56% of female students, respectively. In contrast, women were severely the Information Technology and Engineering departments, accounting for just 17% and 15%.

The percentage of students whose first language is not English was lowest in Humanities (12%) and Education (16%), while it rose to 45% in Science and 42% in Engineering. Physics and IT at 38% and 49% respectively. A was observed in terms of students born outside Australia: Humanities and Education had only 20–23%, whereas Engineering (48%) and especially Physics and IT (56% each) had .
