The graph how much nitrogen oxide was by four different types of across a variety of speeds.

Overall, it can be witnessed that buses produced the highest amount of nitrogen oxide while diesel cars were the most type of vehicles. In addition, while buses and petrol cars , lorries and diesel cars witnessed the opposite.

Regarding diesel and petrol fueled cars, the former emitted a slightly higher nitrogen oxide level at about 7g/km at 10kph and the figure slowly declined as the car got faster, until of 5g/km at 70kph to 130kph. The emission of petrol cars, meanwhile, remained stable around 10g/km across the recorded speeds, with the exception of 120kph and 130kph, at which the discharge level increased to 11g/km and 12g/km, respectively.

In contrast, buses and lorries produced significantly more nitrogen oxide, despite both having decreases. Specifically, the emission figure of buses started high at 40g/km at 10kph, which then declined sharply to 25g/km at 60kph before recovering and breaking its previous peak with 42g/km at 130kph. On the other hand, lorries’ emission started at 33g/km at the lowest speed before bottoming at about 17g/km at 90kph and steadily to 25g/km at the highest speed.
