The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of men and women aged between 18 and 20 in a city taking part in many sporting activities during a month in 2015.

Overall, while most men basketball, football, and hockey, other sports cycling and swimming are by women.

In specific, there were 33% of males took part in basketball, which was roughly the proportion of females joining the activity. Regarding football, the percentage of men playing this sport accounted for 51%, which was far higher than all remaining sectors. Besides, whereas hockey attracted 11% of males, only 4% of women favored this activity.

Cycling and swimming were preferred by females to males. , about 35% of males participated in cycling while the proportion of female , was 5% higher. swimming, the percentage of men enjoying this sport was , which was lower than that of women by 15%.
