The bar chart illustrates the outcome of a survey about the opinions of young Europeans on whether or not there would be improvements in five distinct aspects of life in the following two decades.

Overall, was the only area that the majority of participants were positive about while the outlook for urban air quality was the most .

Regarding the anticipation towards how people communicate with each other, 54% of respondents believed there would be positive changes, in contrast to 46% who held the opposite view. On the contrary, the proportion of individuals anticipating in food quality slightly those with positive expectations, at 51% versus 49%.

Concerning the quality of water, three-fifths of young participants predicted , compared to the 40% who improvements. The pattern was fairly similar for health, with being 58% and 42%. Meanwhile, only of individuals, 23%, answered that urban air quality would see an enhancement.
