You will hear a fitness manager introducing the facilities and membership arrangements at a leisure club.
First, you have some time to look at questions 11 and 12.
Now listen carefully and answer questions 11 and 12.
I'm Sandy Fisher, one of the fitness managers.
Before the tour begins, I'll outline our facilities, including the improvements we have made recently, and then explain the membership options.
Our main attraction is the indoor swimming pool.
It is 25 meters long rather than Olympic-sized, but we have widened it from fewer lanes to eight, so each lane is rarely crowded.
We cannot fit an outdoor pool on the site.
However, part of the glass roof can be opened in warm weather, giving swimmers an open-air feeling.
We have also refurbished the gym, which now contains modern equipment, including 10 new treadmills and a broad range of weight training machines.
Every member receives training before using it, and an instructor is always available.
Children's coaching continues much as before, with activities ranging from trampolining to yoga.
Before you hear the rest of the talk, you have some time to look at questions 13 to 20.
Now listen and answer questions 13 to 20.
Members value the care we provide from their first day.
During a personal assessment, new members complete a questionnaire describing any health problems, which a trainer then discusses with them.
Before anyone uses the fitness equipment, the trainer explains the safety rules.
At the next exercise session, a personal trainer checks that the member understands them, helping us prevent injuries.
The assessment ends with the trainer preparing a plan of goals for the following six weeks.
The plan is reviewed when that period ends.
I'll now summarize the membership categories.
Everyone pays a compulsory joining fee of 90 pounds in addition to the monthly charge.
Gold membership provides free entry to every LP club, since we have branches in most large towns and cities that can be especially useful for frequent travelers.
Gold membership costs 50 pounds per month for one person, or 75 pounds jointly for a member and partner.
Premier membership is intended for professionals who may struggle to visit during the daytime.
Premier members therefore receive booking priority at peak hours.
They can also use reciprocal arrangements with other LP clubs.
Although this membership is only for individuals, members receive passes for guests each month.
The monthly charge is 65 pounds.
You do not need special clothing or equipment.
We supply robes and hair dryers in the changing rooms.
However, always bring your photo card, because entry is refused without it.
For people who are not working during the day, then…
That is the end of part two.
You now have one minute to check your answers to part two.
