You will hear a hotel representative explaining the excursions and evening entertainment available to guests.
First, you have some time to look at questions 11 to 16.
Now listen carefully and answer questions 11 to 16.
I'm Jake Stevens, the hotel representative.
I hope you're enjoying your stay.
Let me start with the excursions available to guests this week.
Dolphin watching is something you really shouldn't miss.
The boat leaves every day and the trip costs 35 euros.
We are so confident that dolphins will appear that anyone who does not see them may take the trip again without paying.
Today's afternoon sailing has no places left, though, so speak to me about another day.
For more active guests, there is also our forest walk.
The guided forest route is about seven kilometers.
We stop halfway and provide a drink and sandwiches.
Some sections climb quite steeply, so participants should be reasonably fit, wear suitable shoes and carry a waterproof in case it rains.
The Wednesday walk costs 25 euros with everything included.
On Thursday, we run a cycling excursion that offers the pleasure of riding without a difficult climb.
We transport both you and your bicycle to the top of Mount Larna, then you ride back down.
The route drops 700 meters over only 20 kilometers, so it is not intended for inexperienced cyclists because speeds can be high.
In clear weather, the views are excellent.
Our local craft tour introduces traditional island industries.
There is no charge for this excursion.
It includes a jewelry workshop and a ceramic center, where you may buy products, if you wish, although purchases are entirely optional.
It leaves after lunch on Thursday and returns by six in the evening.
The island is also an outstanding place for looking at the night sky.
On Friday, our 90 euro observatory excursion includes the large telescopes and an explanation by a specialist of how they operate.
Afterwards, we go down to Sunset Beach, where anyone who wants to can swim in the sea before the return journey.
Finally, horse riding is arranged through the equestrian center near Playa Cortino.
It suits keen riders as well as people who have never ridden before.
The route reaches the beach, allowing riders to canter across the sand and through the edge of the waves.
It costs 35 euros and is offered every day.
Before you hear the rest of the talk, you have some time to look at questions 17 to 20.
Now listen and answer questions 17 to 20.
There is plenty to do during the day, but we also have evening entertainment.
The most popular event is Musical Favorites.
It includes a three-course dinner and as many drinks as you want, all in the ticket price.
The show begins with songs from Paris-based musicals, moves to Las Vegas, and finishes at Copacabana.
After the performance, the cast come down from the stage in costume so guests can talk to them.
Demand is very high, so reserve a place in advance rather than waiting until the final moment.
It takes place on Friday.
Tickets cost 50 euros each and a table beside the stage costs another 10 euros.
For a journey into the past, choose Saturday's Castle Feast.
Dinner is served in the courtyard of a 12th-century castle by attendants wearing long gowns.
Each visitor receives a whole chicken and eats it in the medieval manner with their hands rather than knives and forks.
The entertainment includes mounted contests in which riders try to knock one another from their horses.
Later, you can watch Dancing in the Ballroom and join the dancers yourself if you wish.
