Vietnam’s Central Highlands, in Lam Dong province, and it’s reachable by a six-hour drive or a quick domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City. I’d go there with a couple of my closest friends who are always up for spontaneous adventures and enjoy nature as much as I do. We’d probably spend our time checking out colorful flower gardens, grabbing Vietnamese drip coffee at cute local cafés, and wandering through pine forests or checking out like the Crazy House.

Now, let me explain why I’d prefer to visit Đà Lạt just for a short while—it’s honestly

, the kind that instantly clears your mind but doesn’t overstay its welcome. The city has thisthat makes it an idea, especially when you're feeling a bit burned out. But at the same time, I think a weekend or three-day trip is enough towithout rushing. There’s a certain to Đà Lạt—the misty hills, the colonial-style buildings, and the bustling night markets are all easy to explore without needing a long itinerary. I also wouldn’t want to by staying too long and losing that spark of wonder. With my friends, we’d likely rent motorbikes and zip around the winding roads, enjoy hot street food in the cool night air, and just laugh our way through the weekend. That kind of quick would leave me feeling recharged but still wanting to return another time.
